- ABOUT PROFESSOR HENEIN
A lifetime dedicated to understanding the heart
Professor Michael Henein is a consultant cardiologist with more than four decades of experience in the diagnosis and management of heart disease. His clinical practice centres on advanced, non-invasive cardiac imaging — using echocardiography, cardiac CT and MRI to reach an accurate diagnosis without unnecessary intervention.
Alongside his Harley Street practice, Professor Henein has held professorships at Imperial College London, Umeå University in Sweden and Canterbury Christ Church University. He has supervised 24 PhD students, taught more than 100 MSc students, and remains an active voice in international cardiovascular research.
